Change of mind

Unless applicable law gives you a right to cancel or return your purchase, Bijon Projects does not generally accept returns, exchanges or refunds for change of mind, incorrect size selection or a change in personal preference.

Where applicable consumer law gives you a mandatory cancellation or withdrawal right, we will honour that right. This includes any mandatory rights that apply to eligible online or distance purchases in the customer’s jurisdiction.

Damaged, faulty or incorrect items

If your item arrives damaged, faulty, materially different from its description, or you receive the wrong item, please contact us with your order number, a description of the issue and clear photographs where relevant.

For transit damage, we recommend contacting us within 7 days of delivery so that we can investigate promptly with the carrier. This 7 day request does not reduce or replace any statutory rights that cannot lawfully be limited.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, an appropriate remedy may include repair, replacement, a reduction in price or a refund. We may ask for reasonable evidence of the issue and, where appropriate, for the item to be returned before a remedy is completed.

Returns where a statutory withdrawal right applies

If you exercise a statutory cancellation or withdrawal right, please contact us before returning the item so we can provide return instructions.

Unless the law or circumstances require otherwise, the customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning a change of mind item.

Items should be handled only as reasonably necessary to inspect them. Any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is reasonably necessary may be treated in accordance with applicable law.

Refunds, including any required standard outbound delivery charges, will be processed in accordance with the applicable statutory rules.

Preorders

Preorder fulfilment dates are estimates and can change because of production, quality control, freight or customs delays. A change to an estimated fulfilment date does not remove any cancellation, refund or other rights that you may have under applicable law.

If you wish to request cancellation of an unfulfilled preorder, contact us as early as possible. We will assess the request based on the order status, the product terms and any applicable legal rights.

Items not eligible for discretionary returns

Where we agree to a discretionary return that is not required by law, the item must be unworn, unused and returned in its original condition with any original tags and packaging.

Items damaged through misuse, improper care, normal wear and tear, or unauthorised alteration are not considered manufacturing defects.

Import charges and refused deliveries

Import duties, taxes or customs charges paid directly to a government authority, carrier or other third party are generally outside our control and are not refundable by Bijon Projects unless required by applicable law.

If a shipment is refused because import charges are not paid, any refund may be reduced by shipping, return, carrier or customs costs actually incurred and not recoverable by us, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy excludes, restricts or limits any guarantee, cancellation right, remedy or other consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

If this policy conflicts with a mandatory consumer law that applies to your purchase, that mandatory law will prevail.
