FROM SINGAPORE TO ATLANTA: BIJON PROJECTS AT ATLANTA ANIME FEST

From Singapore to Atlanta, Bijon Projects takes to the runway at Atlanta Anime Fest. Made possible through a friendship with creatives Zay and Soul, this opportunity is a reminder of how building a brand can open doors to unexpected experiences, meaningful connections and creative collaborations across the world.

From Singapore to Atlanta: Bijon Projects at Atlanta Anime Fest

One of the most unexpected and rewarding parts of building Bijon Projects has been the people I've met along the way.Recently, Bijon was invited to be part of a fashion runway show at Atlanta Anime Fest, an opportunity made possible by two friends I've come to know through this journey, Zay (@itszaybaybay) and Soul (@thesoulking).
I first met Zay and Soul last year when they visited Singapore. What started as a chance meeting turned into a genuine friendship, built on a shared appreciation for fashion, creativity and the cultures that inspire us.

Fast forward to today, and they're bringing Bijon to a runway halfway across the world, styling our pieces and giving them a new perspective through their own creative vision. Seeing something I've designed in Singapore find its place on a runway in Atlanta is still a little surreal.

When I first started Bijon, I simply wanted to create clothes inspired by the fictional worlds and stories I grew up loving. I never really imagined where that would take me, or the people I'd meet along the way.People like Zay and Soul constantly inspire me with their individuality, creativity and the way they approach fashion. In fact, I feel from a design standpoint both Soul and I think rather alike.
Being able to connect with people like them, learn from their perspectives and eventually collaborate on something like this is something I'm incredibly grateful for.

In many ways, Bijon has become more than just a creative outlet for me. It's opened doors to experiences I probably wouldn't have had otherwise, introduced me to incredible people from different parts of the world and given me reasons to keep exploring what's possible.

A huge thank you to Zay and Soul for thinking of Bijon, for styling the pieces and for making this opportunity happen.

We're still a small independent brand figuring things out as we go, but moments like these remind me why I started in the first place.
